CCTV9英语新闻：Reacts on Xi's article on Pravo（在线收听）

An article by President Xi on Chinese-Czech ties has been published in the newspaper Pravo.  Pravo is the Czech Republic's second largest daily publication. We heard from its international editor, as well as the business circle, about their thoughts on the article.

"It is a quite unexpected move if president writes an article and wants to talk to an entire country. That's something extraordinary and that shows a commitment to already improved bilateral ties. And it is something that is really very symbolic and we haven't had that for years and luckily it is back and enables us to promote the investment. This is what we like and what we do already," said Milan Tomanek, group head of public relations, Home Credit Int'l.

"I think it is a very open written article. And he speaks very concretely not about the past and it is more and more important he is speaking about future. And I think the future is things interesting not only politicians, not only businessmen, but the ordinary people, the people from the streets too. That, in other words, will be interesting for our readers too." 

"It would be a very very nice to have something special because of first it will be interesting for our readers. Second, it will be very useful for relationships between both counties. I think it will be very special occasion for our readers to have possibility to read about point of view of president of China that's the first and the second you know we are the independent daily. we think that country or people dont have this absolute sense and same opinion. but what is important is to have information to have points of view, to have information about trends. I think "Provo" plays this role as well as possibly," said Vladimir Plesnik, editor of International Edition, Pravo.
