CCTV9英语新闻：Chinese senior official meets Maltese parliament speaker（在线收听）

China's top political advisor Yu Zhengsheng has met with the Maltese parliament speaker on a stopover during his visit to Africa. Yu discussed bilateral ties with speaker of the House of Representatives of Malta, Anglu Farrugia.

Yu said China is willing to work with the Maltese parliament, to jointly boost development of bilateral relations. He also said China is ready to expand cooperation with Malta, in fields such as science, technology, fishery and tourism.

Farrugia said the Maltese parliament highly values its relations with China, and expressed his gratitude for China in supporting Malta's development.
