Spokesman An Fengshan also denounced an announcement by Taiwan, which calls the Chinese Mainland and Taiwan two different countries.  He said this will jeopardize cross-Strait relations. This comes as Taiwan protests against the deportation of the Taiwan telecom fraud suspects from Kenya to the Mainland. 

"The so-called "announcement" completely ignored the facts and failed to distinguish right from wrong. It disregarded the rights of victims and even included the thought of "One country on each side", aiming at jeopardizing the current situation of the two sides. The announcement goes against the wills of people from both sides and will absolutely be objected by them," An said.
