CCTV9英语新闻：NPC Chairman in Hong Kong for three-day visit（在线收听）

Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress Zhang Dejiang is in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region for a three-day visit. 

He plans to attend a Belt and Road forum, and meet with political, business and community leaders. The Hong Kong Chinese Enterprises Association says the "Belt and Road" initiative provides new opportunities for the overseas expansion of Chinese companies. And Hong Kong aspires to play a key role in implementing its goals.

"Chinese companies can first choose countries that have closer trade ties and higher industrial complementarity with China, and also countries with a stable political environment and sound cross-border cooperation mechanisms. The whole of China's foreign investment can be promoted to a higher level," said Yue Yi, honorary president of HK Chinese Enterprises Association.
