This is AP News Minute. President Barack Obama joined former president George W.Bush and many others at a memorial service to mourn the killing of 5 Dallas police officers. Obama says the shootings would appeare to have exposed the deepest fault line of our democracy but that Americans must rejuect such despair. Bernie Sanders has endorsed Hillary Clinton as the Democratic nominee for president. Sanders called Clinton "far and away, the best candidate" to confront challenges facing the country. Attorney General Loretta Lynch defended her decision not to prosecute Hillary Clinton for her use of a private email server as Secretary of State. Testifying on Capitol Hill, Lynch said she accepted the unanimous recommendation of career FBI investigators and attorneys. 2 commuters trains collided head-on in southern Italy, killing at least 22 people and injuring many more.
