Donald Trump's campaign chairman says he would fire anyone who copied parts of first lady Michelle Obama's speech into Melania Trump address to the Republican national convention. But Paul Manafort says he doesn't believe there was plagiarism in her Monday night's speech.

A man has been jailed in eastern Pennsylvinia and accused of smashing a patrol car's windshield with a large rock before chasing the cruiser and attacking an officer. Police say the motive for the attack remains unclear.

Secretary of State John Kerry and newly-appoint British foreign secretary Boris Johnson emphasized the importance of the relationship between the two countries on Tuesday. Johnson dismissed questions on past comments he made about president Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, saying it would take him, quote, too long to engage any full-blown itinerary of apology to all concerned.

Protesters scaled 2 60-foot flagpoles at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland while holding a banner calling on the RNC not to, quote, Trump our communities. Video from local outlets show police arresting 2 people.
