3. California is jumping into the presidential primaries early. Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger moved the state's primary to February from June, saying the state will now get the respect it deserves.

4. There is a new species of leopard out there in the rainforest of Borneo. The clouded leopard is secretive and gets its name from the cloud-shaped patterns on its fur.
