3. Iran's president says 15 captured British sailors trespassed Iranian waters and he says world powers are arrogant for refusing to apologize. Britain says they were in Iraqi waters and is demanding Iran release the service members.

4. And it's American Idol Arab style. An Iraqi singer took the top prize on a TV program like its American counterpart. Her achievement had crowds flinging confetti and chanting in Iraqi streets. Millions have watched Star Academy, perhaps the most watched show in the Arab world.
