A man is under arrest in New York City, accused of shooting and killing a Muslim imam and his friend outside a mosque. Oscar Morel faces 2 counts of second-degree murder plus weapons charges.

A 7th death is now connected to the massive floods in southern Louisiana. A man's body was found in the Baton Rouge area. More than 20,000 people have been rescued from the torrential floods.

A man is under arrest in northern California charged with starting a fire that destroyed more than 175 homes, businesses and other structures. Damin Pashilk faces 17 counts of arson.

And the National Weather Service says several tornadoes touched in central Indiana Monday. The twisters and powerful winds knocked down power lines and damaged homes.
