Yahoo acknowledged on Thursday that data for at least 500m user accounts was stolen from the company’s network in late 2014 by what it believes was “a state-sponsored actor.” 雅虎(Yahoo)周四承认,2014年末,至少5亿用户的账户数据被据信是“政府支持的”黑客从该公司网络窃取。
The embattled internet group said the information stolen may have included names, email addresses, telephone numbers, dates of birth, hashed passwords and, in some cases, encrypted or unencrypted security questions and answers.

Yahoo stressed however that payment card data and bank account information has not been compromised. It said:

Based on the ongoing investigation, Yahoo believes that information associated with at least 500 million user accounts was stolen and the investigation has found no evidence that the state-sponsored actor is currently in Yahoo’s network. Yahoo is working closely with law enforcement on this matter.
