The Buk missile that downed flight MH17 was brought from Russia and fired from a region in eastern Ukraine controlled by pro-Russian rebels, according to a report of the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) released. 根据日前公布的一份联合调查团报告显示，击落MH17航班的山毛榉导弹来自俄罗斯，是从乌克兰东部亲俄叛乱分子控制的区域发射的。
The Dutch-led JIT said its conclusions were based on a wealth of evidence, including forensic examinations, witness statements, satellite images, radar data and intercepted telephone calls.

The Dutch Safety Board carried out an investigation into the cause of the crash to draw safety lessons for future use.

The criminal investigation is aimed at identifying the suspects and is conducted by the international investigation team, the so-called JIT.

Russia dismissed the findings. Dmitry Peskov, Vladimir Putin's press spokesman, said "the whole story is unfortunately surrounded by a huge amount of speculation and unqualified, unprofessional information."
