President Obama says Republicans who are disavowing Donald Trump now should not get credit because they took so long. Obama also accused Republicans of letting hate-filled rhetoric go unchallenged inside the party for years.

Trump did not discuss the sexual allegations against him during his final campaign stop Thursday in Cincinnati. He claimed Democratic Hillary Clinton's campaign controls the mainstream media and is trying to distract voters from the issues facing America.

The governor of North Carolina says the bodies of 2 more victims of Hurricane Matthew have been found. The storm killed at least 38 people in the US, more than half of them in North Carolina.

And powerful wind and rain are expected in western Oregan and Washinton on Friday. Wind gusts could reach 65 miles per hour in some coastal areas.
