1. At the same time, Donald Trump spoke at a North Carolina's rally, denying allegation that he groped and kissed women without their consent. Another woman, this time a former "Apprentice" contest held a news conference, saying that Trump made an unwanted sexual advances while she was seeking a job. 

2. A tornado struck an Oregon beach town as strong wind and rain walloped the Pacific northwest. There was report of injuries. But there have been several calls about damage. 

3. North Carolina governor Pat McCrory said the death toll from hurricane Matthew and its aftermath has risen to 24 in the state. Flooding triggered by Matthew left at least 40 dead in the U.S. The hurricane killed more than 500 people in Haiti. 

4. Thailand's crown prince presided over the bathing of his father's body in the grand palace in Bangkok, a traditional buddhist funeral rite. The body of the country's late king will lie in the template as the Emerald of Buddha,  inside the grand palace complex for undisclosed duration.
