Ralph Kabisch had moved to West Berlin shortly after the wall went up. And it was there that he met a man who is still his friend today, Joachim Neumann. Joachim had used a fake passport to escape from East Germany. His girlfriend had stayed behind, but she now wanted to try and join him. In the early days it was still possible to escape by cutting the wire. Some people even jumped out of the windows of houses which overlooked the border.(以文本为主哟~)
