This is AP News Minute. Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton trade sharp barbs Thursday night during the annual Alfred E. Smith Memorial Foundation Dinner in New York. Trump took several swipes at Clinton, sparking rare boos at the charity event meant to raise money for impoverished children. Iraqi police say 3 Islamic State militants have stormed a power plant north of the city of Kirkuk, killing 11 workers including 2 Iranians before blowing themselves up. The attack took place some 100 miles from the Islamic State-held city of Mosul where Iraqi forces have been waging a wide-scale offensive since Monday. A firefighter, who is being hailed as a hero for helping to evacuate a building before a powerful gas explosion, says he was tossed up to 20 feet by the blast. The explosion in Portland hurt 8 people and demolished a 3-story histsoric building. Cuba and the United States signed an agreement Thursday in Havana to exchange information and work together in the research of cancer.
