Bowing to pressure from Congress, Defense Secretary Ash Carter ordered the Pentagon Wednesday to stop seeking repayments of enlistment bonuses given to thousands of California National Guard members who served in Iraq and Afghanistan. Previously, the Pentagon demanded vets repay the bonuses after an audit found some were overpaid. The debts in some cases totaled more than 25,000 dollars. Donald Trump taking a break from the campaign trail Wednesday to open his new hotel in Washington just a few blocks away from the White House. Trump called the site of the new Trump International Hotel "the most coveted address" in DC aside from the White House. Campaigning in Florida, Hillary Clinton made a pitch to Republicans Wednesday. Clintons said she thinks Americans are coming together at the end of the election, including some Repubilcans and independents. And in Orlando, a penguin is getting a speicial wet suit.
