President-elect Donald Trump is pushing back against reports that his transition is in chaos. He turned to twitter to write it is going so smoothly. People who close to the process say Trump's advisers are fighting for power.

Meanwhile, a casual meeting between the outgoing and incoming vice presidents. Joe Biden welcomed Mike Pence at the Naval Observatory, his official residence in Washington.

A Minnesota prosecutor says the police officer who shot and killed a black motorist in suburban St. Paul in July had no good reason to use deadly force. Officer Jeronimo Yanez faces second-degree manslaughter charges in the shooting death of Philando Castile.

And conjoined twin girls from Nigeria have been successfully separated. The 18-hour operation happened at a Memphis hospital.
