This is AP news minute. 1. President-elect Donald Trump is expected to tap billionaire investor Wilbur Ross as his commerce secretary. That's according to a senior transition official. Ross is considered as the king of bankruptcy for beaten-down companies with the potential to deliver profits. The two met last Sunday. 2. Thousands lined the street of New York amid tight security for the 90th Messi thanksgiving day parade. A giant Charlie Brown balloon helped get things started, joined by many other giant balloons. More than 80 sanitation trucks filled with sand were used as security barriers. 3. A wildfire ripped though parts of Haifa, one of Israel's largest cities, forcing tens of thousands people to evacuate their homes. Authorities speculated the blaze may have been set by politically motivated arsonists. 4. This year's Vatican Christmas tree, a nearly 80-foot spruce pine from northern Italy went up in St.Peter square Thursday. The official unveiling along with this year's nativity set for December,9th.
