This is AP news minute. 1. President-elect Donald Trump is campaigning again, this time rallying support for republican John Kennedy in Louisiana, ahead of the state senate runoff election. Trump made the stop in Baton Rouge Friday just before heading off to Michigan for another stop on his thank you tour. 2. Washington State congresswoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers has reportedly emerged as president-elect Donald Trump's top contender to lead the interior department. McMorris Rodgers is the only republican woman with the leadership role on Capitol Hill. 3. President Obama signed an executive order Friday, giving Alaska native villages more of a say in the federal management of marine resource, with the creation of a Northern Bering Sea Climate Resilience Area. The order, prominently bars oil exploration into areas, already recognized as important hunting areas. 4. The body of a late space hero and former U.S senator John Glenn will be taken to the Ohio state house for a public viewing. A memorial service is being planned at Ohio state university.
