This is AP news minute.

1. At Trump tower in New York, president-elect Donald Trump's received the intelligence briefing on Russian hacking activity on November election. Links from the report suggest some Russian leaders celebrated when the election result was announced. The same intel was given to president Obama on Thursday.  

2.The 4 suspects in the brutalizing of a mentally disabled teenager in Chicago that was broadcast live on Facebook are on court today. A pretend fight between the young man and his schoolmates escalated to a brutal beating and racial touts. The four face felony charges of kidnapping and battery, among others. 

3. Two American astronauts are outside the international space station for a day-long space walk. Commander Shane Kimbrough  and fight engineer Peggy Whitson are starting the test of upgrading the station's power station. 

4. And in Istanbul, the Greek orthodox Christian community celebrated the Epiphany with the traditional blessing. Gathering on the shore of Istanbul Golden Horn, believers jumped into the icy water to retrieve a blessed cross.
