This is AP news minute. 

1.  President Donald Trump told top advisers Sunday that they're in the White House "to devote ourselves for the national good". Trump sworn in his senior White House team during a ceremony in the east room. 

2. The governor of Georgia has declared a state of emergency in seven counties that suffered death, injuries and severe damages from weekend storms. Governor Nathan Deal's office made the announcement after 11 people were confirmed dead in south central Georgia, near the Florida state line.  

3. Rescue crews on Sunday continued their search through an Italian hotel buried in an avalanche earlier this week. Rescuers said they heard no sign of life from the 24 people still missing inside the resort. Five people have been confirmed dead in the avalanche. 

4. Newly released videos showed the Russian firefighters saving pigs from a farm that caught on fire. The Russian emergency ministry says that up-to 200 pigs in the farm when the fire broke out on Friday and most of them were rescued by firefighters.
