1. Mudslides from the huge storm pounding the west coast have shut down two major highways in northern California, Sierra, Nevada. Residents of hundreds home in Reno, Nevada have been told to evacuate due to torrential floods. 

2.  President-elect Donald Trump is blasting the media for reporting that U.S tax players will have to pay for a wall between the U.S and Mexico. Trump's team and congressional republicans are working on the plan to have U.S taxpayers foot the bill, with Mexico reimbursing the U.S. 

3. The 26-year old man charged with killing five people in  Fort Lauderdale Florida airport stood in court on Monday. Esteban Santiago was also accused of wounding six people in the attack. 

4. And French police say they have arrested 16 people in connection with the robbery of Kim kardashian West. More than $10 million jewelry was taken from the reality TV star in Paris last October.
