This is AP news minute. 

1. President Donald Trump and Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau held bilateral talks at White House today. During a joint conference, both men pleaded to strengthen the trade partnership between the two countries, to improve the cooperation in the area of immigration and to respect the environment. 

2. In California, crews continue to shore up the erosion scar on the spillway at the dam Oroville. The good news is the water level is dropping behind the dam. The bad news is more rain is expected later this week. Nearly 200,000 people in downstream remain out of their homes. 

3. Heavy wet snow again blanketing New England, less than a week after the biggest storm of the season dumped nearly 20 inches on the region. Authorities in coastal Maine are urging drivers to stay off the roads due to Whiteout conditions. 

4. And in New York, the 141st Westminster Show is underway. Big finale is Tuesday night.
