This is AP news minute. 1. The White House said today that president Trump asks national security advisor Michael Flynn to resign because of a trust issue, not a legal one. But house democrats are demanding an investigation into Flynn's contact with Russian diplomat about sanction. 2. Crews in California worked to repair damages done to the spillway of the Oroville dam. Dozens of schools in the area remained closed. And nearly 200,000 people who were evacuated have been cautioned to stay away as the repair continues. 3. The half brother of North Korea leader Kim Jong-un was assassinated at Kuala Lumpur airport, after allegedly being attacked with a chemical spray. Kim Jong Un reportedly fled out of favor of North Korea after being caught trying to enter into Japan on a false passport in 2001. 4. In Manila, thousands of students, nuns and school workers took part in a huge dance event to express support for the global "One Billion Rising" campaign.
