This is AP news minute. 1. Attorney general Jeff Sessions is accused himself from an investigation into Russian interference in the US election. This is after the Justice department confirmed Sessions talked twice with Russia's ambassador during presidential campaign, an apparent contradiction to Sessions testimony during his confirmation hearing. President Trump says he has total confident in the attorney general, while some top democrats have called on him to resign. Sessions says there was nothing improper about the meetings and he never discussed the campaign. 2. Two Trump cabinet appointees confirmed by the Senate Thursday. Retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson will lead the department of Housing and Urban development. Former Texas governor Rick Perry is the new energy secretary. 3. The company behind the Snapchat, messaging platform officially went public on the New York stock exchange.The executive says Snap incorporated rang the opening bell Thursday morning, the stock saw more than 50% in the state view, beyond $25 a share. 4. And a small mouth causes a big delay while a British airway flight from London to San Francisco. Passengers were told Wednesday that their flight couldn't take off because a mouse was spotted onboard. The flight was delayed for hours while crews prepared a new rotten-free aircraft.
