This is AP News Minute. President Barack Obama paid a visit to Capitol Hill on Wednesday where he met with Senate and House Democrats about preserving his health care law. Obama urged Congress to "look out for the American people." New York City authorities say more than 100 people suffered minor injuries when a Long Island Rail Road train hit a bumping block at a Brooklyn station. Metal that appeared to be from a rail pierced the bottom of the train and the wheels lifted up. The crash also damaged a work area beyond the track. More than 100 rebels stormed a jail in the Southern Philippines, allowing over 150 inmates to escape. Officials say it was the biggest jailbreak in the country. And the first rain and snowfall of the winter season in Pakistan has ended a month-long dry spell that has caused numerous breathing problems and water shortages.
