This is AP news minute. 

1. South Korea says North Korea tried to launch a missile on Wednesday. The country says it's unclear what's kind of missile it was, and that apparently exploded seconds after taking off. 

2. The White House announced what's expected to be Donald Trump's first trip out of the U.S as president. He plans to attend a NATO conference in Belgium in May. 

3. Oklahoma fire officials report that a wild fire southeast of Tulsa is almost completely contained now. The fire destroyed at least 9 homes. 

4. And Chuck Barris known as the creator of TV classics, including "The Gong show" and "The Dating game" has died. His publicist says the 87-year old passed away from natural causes.
