70% of Chinese millennials (the people born in the 1980s and 90s) are already home-owners, and more than 90% of those that haven't bought a home yet say they intend to do so in the next five years, a new survey by HSBC showed. 英国银行巨头汇丰的一项新调查显示,中国七成"千禧一代(即80后和90后)"名下有房,暂未购房的人中,超九成人表示在今后5年内有购房计划。
While Chinese millennials lead the global trend of buying a home among the age group, Mexico is next at 46%, followed by France at 41%, the US and Malaysia at 35%, Canada at 34%, the UK at 31%, Australia at 28% and the UAE at 26%, according to the survey by the British banking giant included interviews with 9,000 people based in nine countries.
