国家统计局发布的数据显示，2016年我国农民工数量达2.81亿人，比上年增长了1.5%，是2011年以来农民工数量增幅首次扩大。

　　The latest survey also shows that China's farmer-turned workers are aging rapidly, with those over 50 accounting for more than 19% of the total in 2016, increasing from 14% five years before. Those born after the 1980s took up less than half of the total.
