1. Three former Barack Obama administration officials said president Obama warned Donald Trump against hiring Michael Flynn as national security advisor. White House press secretary Sean Spicer says Obama made clear to Trump that he "wasn't a fan of Flynn".  But that Obama should have suspended Flynn's security clearance if he was concerned. 

2. Scattered group of massive protesters clashed with police, firing tear gas in Paris after the election of pro-business independence Emmanuel macron as the new president of France. About 100 people dodged police in mobile protests. 

3. A man accused of killing two engaged doctors inside the penthouse of a luxury condominium building in Boston was ordered held without bail on Monday. The suspect enters not guilty pleas to two counts of murder. 

4. Unexpected heavy snowfall surprises citizens in Moscow on Monday as the city prepared for the victory day celebrations. Citizens expressed concerns about the effect of the sudden snowfall will have on the military parades the next day.
