This is AP News Minute. Tensions in the White House are in full view after New Yorker interview with new Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci. In the interview, he used some graphic terms to attack Chief of Staff Reince Preibus and White House strategist Steve Bannon. Scaramucci also threatened to fire staffers responsible for leaks. Charlie Gard has died following a battle with a rare genetic disease. The terminally ill 11-month-old attracted international attention when his parents fought the hospital over his care. Yesterday a British judge ruled that the child be transferred to hospice and taken off life support. A state of emergency exists for Ocracoke and Hatteras Islands, North Carolina after construction company cut a major powerline to the islands. A handful of tourists remain on Ocracoke. Local businesses expect big financial losses. In Kazakhstan, a Soyuz space capsule successfully blasted off for the International Space Station.
