At least 10 people have been killed in an on-going attack in the southern Pakistani port city of Karachi.

The attackers are reportedly armed with high-powered weapons.

The attackers are said to have killed the four security officers and six others at the airport, then stormed the terminal.

There have been reports of rockets being fired at the runway.

At least four of the attackers have reportedly been killed as well.

A number of people have also been hospitalized.

The Pakistani Military has been mobilized.

The attack at the airport in Karachi coincides with an assault on a bus carry pilgrims in the southwestern province of Balochistan, which has left at least two-dozen dead.

So far, no one has claimed responsibility for either attack. However, the Pakistani Taliban is crediting themselves.

The newly inaugurated Egyptian president Abdel-Fattah el-Sisi is promising Egypt is going to embrace a rebuilding phase.

He's made the pledge while meeting with foreign dignitaries following his swearing-in on Sunday.

Al-Sisi has met with China's Industry and Information Technology Minister Miao Wei, who was sent as the envoy of Chinese President Xi Jinping.

The new Egyptian President says he welcomes more Chinese investment in Egypt.
