A hairdryer, "hairdryer," (one word) is a machine that you use to, you can guess, dry your hair.  电吹风（hairdryer），顾名思义，是你用来吹干头发的机器。

　　So, when you wash your hair and it is wet, you can use a hairdryer to make sure that it becomes dry. 洗完头头发还湿的时候，你可以用电吹风，让头发变干。

　　I don't use a hairdryer because I don't have any hair.  我不用吹风机，因为我没有头发。

　　When I was young man and a boy I had hair, and I would use a hairdryer, but not anymore. 我年轻的时候还有头发，也会用电吹风，但以后不会用了。

　　A tampon, "tampon," is something that I have never used. 卫生棉条（tampon）我从来不用。

　　This is something that men do not have to do.  男性就不用做这件事。

　　Basically, a tampon is a long, thin piece of cotton that a woman puts in her body to absorb or to prevent blood from coming out of her body during each month.  一般卫生棉条是又长又细的一块棉，女性放进体内吸收经血或者防止血流出来，每个月都用。
