This is AP News Minute. Lights out for passengers at the world's busiest airport. A power outage at Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson international airport halted flights and darkened corridors on Sunday. Planes bound for Atlanta were also grounded before taking off. The cause of the outage wasn't immediately clear. French President Emanuel Macron opening the door for diplomacy in Syria. In an interview that aired Sunday, Macron said France and its allies must open dialogue with Syrian President Bashar Al Assad. Macron said he expects the Islamic State Group to be defeated in Syria by February, at which point talks could begin. In the West Bank, Palestinian protesters setting ablaze effigies of President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The burnings come amid continued protests to President Trump's decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital. And Pope Francis celebrating his 81st birthday with a giant pizza. Pope blew out the single candle on a 13-foot pizza on Sunday and the cake, to the delight of the crowd.
