美联社新闻一分钟 AP 美国北部大雪(在线收听) |
This is AP News Minute. Cold weather is gripping the northern US, following Monday's snowfall. The national weather service is forecasting temperatures well below zero for a number of northern states. More than 160 people were reported dead in the Philippines after a powerful typhoon pounded the country. The storm missed Vietnam after hundreds of thousands of people evacuated from its path. Tens of thousands of people remain without power in Puerto Rico for more than three months after hurricane Maria. The US army corps of engineers says restoring power to the entire island could take until May. And a fire tore through an antique store in northern Virginia, close to Washington, DC. Firefighters were concerned the building could collapse, and left just before a wall came down. Matt Small, the Associated Press, with AP News Minute. |
