Hundreds of thousands of federal workers are expected back on the job on Tuesday with the government open for business. Republicans promised democrats that the Senate will soon address the plight of young immigrant DACA recipients.

Vice President Mike Pence went to Jordan where he defended President Trump's recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capital. The move has drawn protests from Palestinians and Arab leaders.

Pennsylvania's supreme court ruled the state's congressional districts violate the state's constitution with boundaries drawn to help Republicans win. The court gave legislators until February 9th to draw a new map.

And Bill Cosby performed at a Philadelphia Jazz club. He got a warm welcome from the crowd and did not discuss his upcoming sexual assault retrial.
