2. In South Carolina two children were found dead in trash bags. Their mother was taken to a hospital for evaluation. The coroner said she took the children to work and left the four-year-old and one-year-old in the car all day. Autopsies will determine the cause of death.
3. A highway bridge under construction in California collapsed, trapping a delivery truck driver and injuring a construction worker. Large beams crumbled the delivery truck. It took more than two hours to free the driver.
