Do you know what a boycott is? 你知道什么是抵制吗？

　　A boycott means that people don't buy certain products. 抵制意味着人们不买某些产品。

　　Sometimes people boycott products because they believe that the company or the country which made the product is behaving badly. 有时人们抵制产品是因为他们相信制造产品的公司或国家行为不端。

　　Here's a simple example. 举个简单的例子。

　　There is a book store in your town, the owner of the store sells books at a higher price than other bookstores, 在你的镇上有一家书店，店主卖书的价格以比其他书店高，

　　so the people in your town decide to boycott the bookstore. 所以你们镇上的人们决定抵制这个书店。

　　In other words, people stop buying books from the store. 换句话说，人们不再从这个书店买书了。

　　In order for this to be a real boycott, a lot of people should participate. 为了让这成为真正的抵制，很多人都应该加入进来。
