Dear Su Hai, 亲爱的苏海：

How are you?  你好吗？

It's going to be Chinese New Year next week.  下周就将是中国的新年了。

I'm very excited! 我非常兴奋！

Tomorrow, my family and I are going to buy some new clothes and food.  明天，我和我的家人将去买新衣服和食物。

Then, in the evening, we're going to make some cakes and tangyuan. 然后在晚上，我们将做蛋糕和汤圆。

On Chinese New Year's Eve,  在除夕那天，

we're going to have dinner with my grandparents, my aunt and uncle and my cousin.  我们会和爷爷奶奶，叔叔婶婶以及堂兄妹一起吃饭。

Then, we're going to buy some flowers. 然后，我们会去买些花。

On Chinese New Year's Day, my parents are going to give me red packets.  在大年初一那天，我的父母会给我红包。

Then, we're going to watch a lion dance in the afternoon. 然后，我们会在下午去看舞龙狮表演。

On the second day of Chinese New Year,  在春节的第二天，

We're going to watch fireworks in the evening. 我们会在晚上看烟花。
