Flatter the mountain-tops with sovereign eye, 威严的朝阳把四射光芒洒满山巅，

　　Kissing with golden face the meadows green, 它那金色的脸儿贴紧碧绿的草原，

　　Gilding pale streams with heavenly alchemy; 用上界的炼金术使惨淡的溪水璀璨。

　　Anon permit the basest clouds to ride With ugly rack on his celestial face, 然而倏忽间，忍对片片乌云，黑沉沉横过它那庄严的面影，

　　And from the forlorn world his visage hide, 使遗弃的下界难睹其尊容，

　　Stealing unseen to west with this disgrace: 它于是蒙羞戴耻暗沉下碧霄九重。

　　Even so my sun one early morn did shine 我的太阳也曾如此四射光芒，

　　With all triumphant splendor on my brow; 在一个清展辉煌于我的前额之上。

　　But out, alack! he was but one hour mine; 可是唉！我只能一时承受其恩宠，

　　The region cloud hath mask'd him from me now. 须臾云遮雾障，再不复重睹它的金容。

　　Yet him for this my love no whit disdaineth; 然而我对他的爱心并不稍稍有减，

　　Suns of the world may stain when heaven's sun staineth. 天上的太阳会暗，人世的更理所当然。
