What merit lived in me, that you should love 我即身已殁，尚有何德何能

　　After my death, dear love, forget me quite, For you in me can nothing worthy prove; 敢蒙你垂青？呵，爱啊，忘掉我，因为你确实找不到我可爱的铁证。

　　Unless you would devise some virtuous lie, 除非你能罗织出无害的谎言，

　　To do more for me than mine own desert, 对我大肆吹嘘，施朱着粉，

　　And hang more praise upon deceased I 为九泉之下的我捧出更多的颂词，

　　Than niggard truth would willingly impart: 全不顾夸张的话当以事实为本。

　　O, lest your true love may seem false in this, 哦，怕你的真爱又因此显得虚伪，

　　That you for love speak well of me untrue, 怕人说你为了爱对我阿谀奉承。

　　My name be buried where my body is, 我倒愿我的姓名和肢体同卧荒丘，

　　And live no more to shame nor me nor you. 免得它苟行于世令你抱惭蒙羞。

　　For I am shamed by that which I bring forth, 我因此愧对自己的涂鸦之作，

　　And so should you, to love things nothing worth. 你爱了不值得爱的也会脸红如大。That time of year thou mayst in me behold When yellow leaves, or none, or few, do hang 你在我身上会看到这样的时候，那时零落的黄叶会残挂枝头，

　　Upon those boughs which shake against the cold, 三两片在寒风中索索发抖，

　　Bare ruin'd choirs, where late the sweet birds sang. 荒凉的歌坛上不再有甜蜜的歌喉。

　　In me thou seest the twilight of such day 你在我身上会看到黄昏时侯

　　As after sunset fadeth in the west, 落霞消残，渐沉入西方的天际，

　　Which by and by black night doth take away, 夜幕迅速将它们通统带走，

　　Death's second self, that seals up all in rest. 恰如死神的替身将一切锁进牢囚。

　　In me thou see'st the glowing of such fire 你在我身上会看到这样的火焰，

　　That on the ashes of his youth doth lie, 它在青春的灰烬上闪烁摇头，

　　As the death-bed whereon it must expire 如安卧于临终之塌，待与

　　Consumed with that which it was nourish'd by. 供养火种的燃料一同烧尽烧透。

　　This thou perceivest, which makes thy love more strong, 看到了这一切，你的爱会更加坚贞，

　　To love that well which thou must leave ere long. 宝爱我吧，我在世的日子已不会太久。
