My mind was blank as I tried to think of a way to make him let me go. This wasn't going to be pleasant. 我试图想出让他放我离开的方法，但我的脑子里一片恐怖。这不会是一件令人愉快的事情。

"He's not here," Edward said tensely. "Let's go." Emmett reached over to help me get out of the harness. “他不在这里。”爱德华紧张地说道。“我们走。”艾美特伸出手帮我解开了安全带。

I felt moisture filling up my eyes as I looked at Emmett. I barely knew him, and yet, somehow, not knowing when I would see him again after tonight was anguishing.  我看着艾美特，眼里盈满了泪水。我才刚刚认识他，而且，一想到今晚之后我们是否还有机会相见，我就感到深深的痛苦。
