Yeah, he muttered. He was still looking awkward… upset. “是啊，”他喃喃低语着。他看上去还是很尴尬……也很不安。

　　There's more? I asked in disbelief. “还有吗？”我难以置信地问道。

　　Forget it, he mumbled, I'll get a job and save the money myself. “忘掉这件事吧。”他低声说道。“我会找份打工，然后自己存钱。”

　　I glared at him until he met my gaze. Just spit it out, Jacob. 我瞪着他，直到他对上我的视线为止。“说出来，雅克布。”

　　It's so bad. “那太糟了。”

　　I don't care. Tell me, I insisted. “我不在乎。告诉我。”我坚持着。

　　Okay… but, geez, this sounds bad. He shook his head. He said to tell you, no, to warn you, that and this is his plural, not mine.  “好吧……但是，耶稣，这听上去太糟了。”他摇着头。“他要我告诉你，不，警告你，说——还有，那是他的复数，不是我的”

　　he lifted one hand from my waist and made little quotations marks in the air 'We'll be watching.' He watched warily for my reaction. 他从我腰上移开一只手，在空气里画了一个小小的引号——“‘我们会一直看着。’”他小心地等待着我的反应。

　　It sounded like something from a mafia movie. I laughed out loud. 这听起来像是黑手党电影里的一句台词。我大声笑了起来。

　　Sorry you had to do this, Jake, I snickered. “对不起，让你不得不做这种事，杰克。”我窃笑着。
