North Korea is threatening to cancel Kim Jong Un's planned summit with President Trump. The country already dropped a high-level meeting with South Korea over joint US-South Korea military exercises.

A federal official in southern California anonymously tells AP that a fatal explosion appears to have come from a package. The blast killed one person and injured three others in an Orange County office building Tuesday.

A full-term congressman has won the republican nomination for senator from Pennsylvania after President Trump asked him to run. Representative Lou Barletta is set to face democratic senator Bob Casey this fall.

And severe storms have pounded the northwest with powerful wind, hail and lightening. More than 100,000 homes and businesses lost power in Connecticut.
