2018年CRI Cainiao and YTO launch China's most efficient smart warehouse（在线收听）

Cainiao Network Technology Co Ltd, the courier aggregator backed by China's e-commerce giant Alibaba, has launched its latest smart warehouse together with YTO Express in Hangzhou, reports thepaper.cn.

This smart warehouse, equipped with the most advanced operation system and robots, is able to sort out up to 500,000 packages a day.

This makes it the most efficient smart warehouse of its kind in the logistics industry of China. 

A technician with Cainiao said that the latest smart warehouse improved the average efficiency of the industry about 20 percent, with the application of technologies such as Internet of Things (IoT), AI and robotics.

Launched ahead of the "Double Eleven" shopping festival, China's largest online shopping holiday, the smart warehouse is expected to greatly lower costs and improve the online shopping experience.
