I'm here to tell you a few tales of passion. 我将会在这里讲述关于激情的故事。
There's a Jewish saying that I love. What is truer than truth? Answer: The story. 我很喜欢一句犹太谚语。比事实更为真实的是什么?答案:故事。
I'm a storyteller. I want to convey something that is truer than truth about our common humanity. 我善于讲故事。我希望能够向大家诉说比事实更为真实且有关于日常人性的故事。
All stories interest me, and some haunt me until I end up writing them. 我对所有的故事都感兴趣,让我念念不忘,直到我的写作结束。
Certain themes keep coming up: justice, loyalty, violence, death, political and social issues, freedom. 总有一些特定的话题涌入我的脑海:公正,诚实,暴力,死亡,政治以及社会问题,当然也包括自由。
