Democrat Gavin Newsom was sworn in as Governor of California on Monday. A heckler briefly disrupted the event, blaming Newsom for the death of a police officer, allegedly killed by someone who is in the country illegally.

And Clemson fans celebrated after the Tigers won the college football championship. The Tigers went into the game ranked at No. 2, but they knocked off No. 1 Alabama 44 to 16.
