Hi there, I'm Ore from the BBC World News for Schools. It's Tuesday the 26th of July.

Coming up:

Thousands gather to remember Norway's victims.

England are 1-0 up going into the 2nd test.

And accusations of cheating delay Turkish footy season.

First - what do you do when you've borrowed as much money as you can, but you still have lots more things you need to pay for? That's the problem facing America at the moment. The country owes more than 14 trillion dollars and there's a big argument over what to do about it. The President Barack Obama says America needs to be able to borrow more, otherwise there's a real danger that they won't be able to pay for important services, and people will lose their jobs...

CLIP: "This is no way to run the greatest country on earth. It's a dangerous game that we've never played before and we can't afford to play it now. Not when the jobs and livelihoods of so many families are at state."

But his opponent John Boehner reckons cutting the debt needs to be the main priority...

CLIP; "The solution to this crisis is not complicated. If you're spending more money than you're taking in, you need to spend less of it."

Whatever happens the politicians have to come to some kind of agreement, and soon, because in a weeks time America will have borrowed as much as it can.

Next, more than one hundred and fifty thousand people gathered in the Norwegian capital Oslo to remember the 76 victims killed in Friday's bombings and shootings. This man was among them, he said it meant a lot for everyone to stand together...

CLIP: "Just too much to take in, how bad it is, but it's beautiful to see so many people come and show their support."

Meanwhile, torchlight processions were held in towns and cities across Norway. People clutched flowers to show support for those who lost loved ones in the attacks.

Next - England's cricketers head into the second test with 1-0 lead against India. They beat the tourists by 196 runs at Lords on a thrilling final day. India's Captain MS Dhoni felt they were at a disadvantage from the moment their main strike bowler Zaheer Khan pulled his hamstring on day one...

CLIP: "First innings we lost Zaheer Khan. You know playing with three bowlers, especially two fast bowlers and a spinner it was very difficult to manoeuvre the bowling attack."

And finally - when it comes to countries that love their footy - Turkey is definitely up there. So imagine fans disappointment when they were told the season has been delayed by a month! It's all because of accusations of cheating in the game. It's being reported that a striker may have been paid not to score, while a goalkeeper is accused of deliberately letting a goal in. The police want to get to the bottom of what's been going on before play starts up again.

And for today's question we want to know whose Turkey's neighbours are?

OK, that's all from us. We're back tomorrow. But before we go we want to say a big hello to the Senzaki family in Japan. Thanks so much for your lovely e-mail. And if you want to squeeze in a last minute shout out before the last World News for Schools bulletin on Friday, e-mail us at [email protected]. Bye for now!
