The Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff has called off a state visit to the United States next month over allegations of espionage. Wyre Davies reports from Rio de Janeiro.

Police in Zanzibar have arrested 15 people in connection with recent acid attacks. The police commissioners said some of the suspects had linked to the Somali Islamist group al-Shabab. Last week, a Roman Catholic priest was attacked in the face with acid, it followed a similar attack in August on two young British women.
