The Israeli military says it struck about 100 Hamas targets in the Gaza strip. The airstrikes against the militant group come after a rocket fired from Gaza reached Tel Aviv.

A dozen Senate Republicans joined Democrats to vote against President Trump's emergency declaration. The President said he'll veto the measure so he can build the wall on the Mexican border.

And severe storms and a possible tornado left a trail of destruction in northern Alabama. Heavy damage was reported in at least two counties north of Birmingham.
